In Columbus' day, there were undiscovered lands left to explore right here on Earth. Every day, mankind learns something new, and the undiscovered country grows a little smaller. But virtual worlds can go on forever. When we run out of frontiers to conquer, we can make our own strange new lands to explore.
Learn (or practice) computer game programming with MIT's "Scratch," which allows you to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art - and share your creations on the web. You will need an e-mail address (either your own or a parent's) in order to share your work online. Or, you can bring your project home on a USB drive or CD.
