What does it take to build something with wood from start to finish?
We’ll start by learning the basics.
Using hammers, screwdrivers, measuring tape, various hardware, and wood glue we will make a (silly, scary, sanguine… ) friend made out of scrap wood. Next, follow in the footsteps of carpenters and craftspeople by learning to saw, glue, join, and polish. Walk away with your own working toolbox and, best of all, the knowledge to make many more things! This is the perfect opportunity for children to learn some of the fundamentals of woodworking and gain practical skills for life.
