Charles (1907 – 1978) and Ray (1912 – 1988) Eames designed everything – toys, chairs, houses, films and museum exhibitions. They were practical visionaries. You will find that you know their work. They found new uses for new ways of making things. Learn how they worked.
Construct a study of their house (with a video tribute from Ice Cube). Play with their ideas of modular construction. Choose to mold and laminate an elephant or a chair. Spin their tops. Enjoy their films. Build a solar powered Do Nothing Machine after one they created long before the world realized that we must do something solar. Understand what modern means.
