One hundred years ago, A.C. Gilbert graduated from Yale. He chose not to pursue the career in medicine he had prepared for. He returned to a passion he had developed when he was 8 years old - magic. He loved the preparation, the practice, and the performance of prestidigitation: nimble fingers. Construct tricks for handkerchiefs. Make thing disappear into them. Make them disappear and reappear. Juggle them. Learn to cut and restore string. Build a simple magician's table to hold your tricks.
