Just as we brace for the winter season, the Earth comes under attack! Aliens are coming to steal favorite winter holidays, and it’s up to you to fight back! We’ll use Scratch, MIT MediaLab’s free web-based programming language, to build and program the Earth’s defenses.
We’ll re-create the classic arcade game “Space Invaders” with a seasonal twist. Scratch allows you to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art - and share your creations on the web. You will need an e-mail address (either your own or a parent's) in order to share your work online. Or, you can bring your project home on a USB drive or CD.
